Dramatic handblown glass bowl with intricate black and white caning on the interior. This piece is constructed with the Incalmo method. A difficult technique to master requiring two cups of glass on two different blow pipes to be joined while molten creating the thick band of red color around the top of this stunning piece. The canes were individually made and pulled for this bowl. A true show of the mastery of glass required to make such a statement piece.
